I've looked at flying to Tokyo on points next September with the family but don't want to waste days going via SIN. Some posters pointed out that ANA will recommence flying SYD-HND (Haneda) from December and points could be converted to KrisFlyer miles and redeemed for direct flights.

I've joined Kris but haven't transferred points yet. I was looking at flight bookings but all that comes up are flights on SIA via SIN. How do I bring up partner airlines?

I can see flights as low as $973 rtn on the ANA website.

This is all new to me having used QF and associates traditionally.

Thanks for any assistance.

You might also want to compare the cost of buying the required number of LifeMiles for benchmarking purposes.

Thanks. So how do I work out the points needed before I transfer Velocity points? I know there's a conversion rate of 1.35 VA points to 1 KF point.
