V-Australia Seating Allocation

I have an upcoming international flight, Sydney - Abu Dhabi - Dublin VA29 on April 06th. I cannot see where I could do it online, so maybe someone here can help.

As a Velocity Gold Member, can I pre allocate Exit Row or Bulkhead seats? If I ring V Australia will they let me or do I have to wait until I get to the airport?​

You can ring them and request a seat, but you cannot do it online.
I flew MEL-LAX-MEL a week or so ago in Y+ and rang the call centre just to say that I didn't want to be seated in row 10 as I have heard there is limited legroom due to the bulkhead. I was told I was in row 11 both ways, which was good enough for me.
To my surprise when checking in at LAX to return home, I had found we were upgraded to J and was in 4D. WHat a pleasant surprise.
We think it was due to a cancellation and selected passengers being moved up a class. I didn't complain!

Yep you need to call. I completely forgot about it for my MEL-LAX flight- and they called me regarding a time change and said most people had already chosen seats- so got onto it straight away
