VA Codeshare on SQ

Can someone confirm that a VA coded flight on SQ gets the VA "Long haul" baggage allowance? (ie: 23Kg, plus 15Kg for Gold)

It's a little odd since Indonesia/Thailand seem to be classed as short haul flights and hence we'd need to buy luggage. (And if we were an SQ customer, it'd be 20Kg not 23.)

Flight showing a VA flight number that is operated by SQ, you will receive the VA baggage allowance for your applicable fare type.


VA represents Virgin Australia international long haul flights, DJ represents Virgin Australia international short haul and domestic flights, while SQ represents Singapore Airline flights, and MI represents SilkAir flights.

Lounge access seems to be a given since it stays its granted with a BP for a SQ operated flight.
