Do you mean VA IT have different carrier pigeons in different airports delivering the information back to the Village?

Sometimes it’s so slow it feels like that :)
Haha.
I was more thinking that perhaps there's been a staged rollout of new software that's only partly done so far, some ports have perhaps been upgraded and some not yet.

datapoints:

MEL-SYD, business, Friday evening (was granted fly-ahead by 45min, but SYD ATC meant that got mostly eaten up): points/SC received sometime late Saturday.
SYD-MEL, economy, Sunday afternoon: points/SC received by time I woke Monday morning.

Flew MEL-SIN on SQ/VA codeshare on 25 Jan. No sign of the points and credits yet.

Flew CBR-SYD this afternoon and that has already posted Tonight!

I did a same day return SYD-CBR on Thursday and the points still haven't posted.
I'm actually coming to realise that this "sometimes very fast" posting of points may actually be a bad thing. I've been compulsively checking my points balance several times a day, even though there's no urgency in it at all! But I just can't seem to stop checking.

I flew BNE-SYD-LST on Sunday afternoon and both legs were credited by the time I arrived at my hotel. Never seen it happen so fast...

SYD-MEL for me today was posted in the 2 hours until I checked. I should have checked on landing!

My wife took MEL-SYD flight this morning but points not posted yet.

I flew SYD-BNE-CNS on Monday arriving home at night.
My points and status credits were credited soon after I arrived home.
I have the same experience with DL when crediting to Velocity.

Mr J flew HBA-MEL then MEL-PER yesterday. First flight posted yesterday afternoon, no sign of the second flight yet.

Flew yesterday and didn't notice when the points posted and they were there this morning
Flew home today and the points posted within 2 hours of landing, including pooling and double SC

These were Adelaide-Melbourne and reverse

Site is very buggy at the moment. Regularly won't load any details on my velocity, such as right now...

Flights in Jan posted pretty much same date. Flights recently took about 10 days, with the latter flight posting before the preceding flight by about 4 days.

Hubbys flight landed at 2.30pm and by 6.30pm points and SCs were on his account inc double SCs promo.

HBA-MEL (VA), MEL-AUH (EY), AUH - MXP (EY). The Etihad flights posted almost straight away. It’s been 10 days and the Virgin leg still hasn’t posted. This always happens with Singapore/Virgin combos too.
