VA Gold benefits with Krisflyer

All,

I am VA Gold and have no status with Krisflyer. I am planning for an Economy SYD-KUL with a stopover in SIN. SQ reward booking allows stopover whereas Velocity reward doesn't.

Should I transfer my Velocity points to Krisflyer and add my VFF number during booking or Should I add my VFF number during check-in to take advantage of VA Gold benefits?

Or you can just present your Velocity card at the lounge

If you book via KrisFlyer you won’t be able to add your velocity number to the booking until check in (it will be locked to the SQ number). At check in either online or at the desk you can update this to the VA number.
