VA: Melbourne to Los Angeles Can we upgrade ???

Hello all,
Myself and my Wife a both Platinum Velocy members, Looking to head to the USA for work in Febuary 2022, I have not kept up with what has been going on with Velocity and what we can and can not do anymore.

But I did see we can book Delta flights with just points, But can we book a base ticket and use points to upgrade to Premium or Business?
I have probably missed where to do it or if we can do it.

Anyhelp would be great. Wouldnt mind using some of my Million points finally (thanks covid)

Hi, you will not be able to use Velocity points to upgrade a ticket to Business on Delta metal.

It may be possible with Delta Skymiles, but I suspect success would be unlikely.

You may be able to access Comfort+ but I am note sure of the working on this in recent times.

I thought that might be the case, I can get a seat and pay for it all with points, but only economy.

Looks like ill be holding on to my points even longer
