VA status challenge - smart marketing

I think VA platinum would really be worth a lot more if the partner airlines allowed VA Platinum into their lounges. IE flying VA from Japan, or flying ANA or SQ in Y class but with lounge access. It still seems amateurish having a FF Platinum card but no international lounge access. Seems to devalue the whole point but everyone seems happy with lounge access domestic. Really?

I disagree.
SQ let this VA Plat into their lounges flying whY… you’re correct about no VA international lounges and the ANA partnership is limited, but it’s not all bad. Flying SQ I used the SilverKris lounge BKK and KrisFlyer Gold SIN
