VA Status Match to QF via Travel Managment Companies

Evening,
I don't recall seeing any communication anywhere but CTM offers a Velocity Status Match for Qantas Frequent Flyers (seen posted on their Linkedin page).

The promotion is targeted to companies booking only via CTM - but it's a direct status match to the relevant Virgin Velocity status tier.
Valid between 01APR-30JUN.




Hopefully, some employees can take advantage of the promotion.

I would not use CTM if its that travel company that has a liaison with FB.
Which from the branding above, is the one.
Maybe some will like it.
CTM/FB travel allows points earnings with bookings via them to airlines and hotels.
By booking through them last year, flying AirNZ and wanting to earn FB points, the points for this came into my FB account, ok on that point.
But no seat selection was allowed by AirNZ when I went into my AirNZ account to pick seats.
Also, they say that points can be earnt in FB for hotel bookings, well, I made it, and no points ever came into my FB account from CTM/FB travels on this aspect of it.
Just something to keep in mind of.
And yes, I did contact FB and CTM/FB travel, but still, 6 months after putting in a claim, nothing.

Had a look at ours FCM and can’t find it. We were with CTM last year.

Jumped on this a few weeks ago as we use CTM. Platinum status from QF was matched within 2 days. Mainly wanted the status match for the Hilton Diamond as have a fair few stays coming up in the next 6 months.
