VA Status Match

None of us know the actual numbers of successful convertees and I doubt VA are about to tell us!

Since we have a few members who actually work for Velocity, some of us DO know the numbers not that they can tell us, all the evidence I see points to the fact it was a success, even if we look outside the microcosm that is AFF.

I am not sure about others, but I do know of quite a few in the corporate world who now fly VA on a regular basis who would not have considered it prior to the three status match campaigns, but like all campaigns its of limited effectiveness when repeated, the last campaign along in conjunction with the Velocity revamp had the greatest effect, its more likely now that it will be a case of what the competition stops doing that has an effect moving forward, breakfast anyone?

I am no marketer but I would have thought now was a good time for a status match

With the current level of unhappiness for QFFers, I don't think they need to bother to offer a Status Match in this instance. As a current self funded VA WP (no DSC's or xASA's), I'm a Nay vote ……………………………….. runs away very quickly :-|

Agree I don't think they need to offer a mass match.

Obviously certain customers are open to moving to VA now so approaching them individually might yield good returns...

I dropped down to Gold after two years as Platinum, but only did 400 SC last year.

Would have out more through VA if I realised I would have done 2000 SC on QF, but DONE4 only came through late in the year

Platinum again would be nice
As would HH Diamond

I think it worked well for both VA and Hilton as I put thorough almost enough business through each to maintain GOLD

For those that have tried a recent status match, did you call or email customer services? If email what email address did you use? Mrs. B would like to give it a go.
Thanks
