I noticed that the J return fare for these flights is $3659.

A big difference

Those midweek departures 0035 on Tue and Thu will surely always be really empty. Can't be that many takers for a flight essentially on Monday night when there is a daytime one, same on the Wednesday night. I really hope they can get more sensible slots.

dont mind that 1am departure actually as the arrival time is far more civilised than a 5am-er into HK, they can probably pick up more connecting traffic from domestic also without too many issues.

would hope the service is very abbreviated though to let tired pax off to sleep

looks like an absolute blood bath in terms of pricing - will probably try them in J soon to take advantage

Hi everyone. I just wanted to see if this is happening to everyone or just me.

On the Virgin Mates Rates page, it says BNE - HKG (via MEL) return from $614. But when I go through the Virgin search, I can't seem to find a combination of flights that bring it even close to $614 for the travel period. The cheapest I get is $366.52 + $363.07 = $729.59. Expedia gets closer at ~$650.
