As we all know AFF is full of romantic members - so share your plans for what you have in store for your Valentine for this weekend please? Don't be bashful - sharing is caring.

Personally Saturday night the 14th is committed to a bday party for our 17yo god daughter - so it will be Friday the 13th for us.

There is a tiny little eatery in our street just 200mtrs from our door who are trying to build trade by opening on Fri and Sat nts - we are taking a bottle of VCLDG up there to just sit and chill and order whatever they can dish up.

Others ........

For us the 14th of Febryary is a ready, set ... ... ... heads up for the 18th ... :D

Golf on Saturday morning followed by a few bets on horses and then preparing for golf the next day.

If she was here she'd be welcome to come along. ;)

We don't do Valentine's Day, never really have since the kids arrived. We will be spending it at a 21st Birthday Party, there's sure to be Champagne and balloons there :D

We restrict celebrations to X-mas and B'days, outside of that ... every other day is Valentine's day ;)

OMG - and you are going to try to convince as the other half was not peering over your shoulder as you typed that?

Hmm. Does collecting MrP at the airport on a 41 degree afternoon after a business trip to NZ count for brownie points?

We don't do Valentines Day either. But he does bring me back my favourite cherry liquor chocolates after every trip away. And I shall shout myself a bottle of blackcat's Taittinger. :p

I have no one to share my Valentine with, but on 13 February my sister is arriving in Switzerland. It will be the first time I have seen her in over five months (in fact, the first time I have seen any family since I left Australia).

Saturday 14 February we will be crossing the Swiss Alps on the panoramic Glacier Express.

To all those in love, may it stay strong and continue to blossom.

4 good friends who are married are joining us for a lunch at my place. We are each making something and just hanging out for bit.

Then for dinner plan to catch up with my bestie, his wife and baby to consume the 98 taittinger comtes I was supposed to have for my 30th last month.

Tomorrow night I might crack open something with the wife, unfortunately we don't have many local good byo places.
