Valentines Day, forgot about that. We chose long ago (about a year or two after we got together) not to buy into the whole thing. And anyway, focus here in SG is firmly on Chinese New Year celebrations, the only time for the year we get 2.5 days off work which this year is followed by weekend. Much more important and just finalising travel plans.

We both view Valentines day as just another hallmark holiday so will be a regular weekend for us, meaning the kids will take over.

We restrict celebrations to X-mas and B'days, outside of that ... every other day is Valentine's day
