Recorded or not...some airlines need to fix the volume of the demonstration.

Qantas has the loudest by a long shot

Qantas has the loudest by a long shot

Volume is adjustable on a lot of them.
Some are automatically jacked up when engines start etc.

I actually prefer the pre-recorded. So frustrating when a CSM trips over their words or stumbles through the demo. Quite sick of it really.

While it is a but robotic, the pre-recorded messages are ok. Yes, a good clear live announcement would be better by the FA, but people are variable and some FAs rush through it and I wonder how non native English speakers can follow it well.
