Vegemite and LAG Restrictions

We take Vegemite to the US in our baggage rather than hand carry. It certainly doesn't look like a liquid ,
Aerosol but may be a Gel.
Go baggage I think so you still have it on your trip. It gets rid of mouth sores quickly and fixes sore gums.

I'm going carry on only.

I would expect it to be classified as a gel. On that basis I would proceed as follows:

Vegemite is cheap so buy a decent container size and put it in hand luggage
Worst case it gets confiscated
Also buy a very small size and put it in your less than 100ml bag
Buy it in the UK where it is widely available

I'm also sure it's a LAG.

I think you can get < 100ml tubes,

BTW, IMHO don't bother taking it. You can buy it over there cheaper than Australia through the major chains. (Not 100% sure if it's still imported from Australia or produced locally though).

+1 to buying it there. Its imported from Australia can definitely be bought in Tesco and Sainsbury's ( probably others but these are the supermarkets I have seen it in)

Just check-in a bag and take 20Kg of the stuff for her! Show her just how special she is

Carry on only didn't go so well, had to unpack the bag into friends bags then re-pack it into mine....

Also, they seem to be quite strict on the guesting these days. My two friends are in the J lounge now
