I am looking for Velocity Business Reward seats from Paris to BNE around 7th October flexible dates. There is nothing direct (Paris to BNE) so do you suggest I look at individual legs? eg Paris to DOH or Paris to SIn? then DOH to BNE etc.. what searches do you suggest? I could also fly from another European capital city as another alternative...but not sure which ones would be likely to have BC seats?

At this late stage and with the demand out there for business reward seats, it's a case of simply regularly checking (or setting up an alert on a site like expert flyer) and seeing if something becomes available. Individual legs can be done.

Consider transferrring your velocity points into SQ Krisflyer and look within SQ to get Krisflyer reward seats.

With a 1.55:1 conversion rate I'd go the other way round. (i.e. if you see seats through Krisflyer but not Velocity, transfer the points)...

Of course, if you have KF points to convert....Here the question is about using Velocity points.
Note that It is a conversion either way.
When converting KF to V: 1.55 KF = 1 V

You can also take a gamble on last minute availability. EY is fairly good at releasing last minute seats.

There's 1 seat - Frankfurt - Doha - Singapore on the 6th of Oct in J, but you'd have to buy a revenue SIN-BNE in economy to get to Brisbane.
There's 1 seat Singapore - Sydney through Krisflyer on the 9th Oct in J, but you'd have to transfer from Velocity to Krisflyer and cop the 1.55 exchange rate.

Or you could book both and spend a few days in Singapore.

You might get lucky with releases closer to the date, but that's not guaranteed and pretty risky if you don't have a backup plan.

There's Istanbul - Singapore - Sydney on the 9th of October. 15hr layover. Booked through Krisflyer only. It's the higher 'Advantage' rate, so it would take 259,000 Velocity points. 1 seat only.
