Velocity Digital card for Apple wallet.. just realised velocity allows you to add the digital version of your card to both apple wallter and google pay, the card looks funky on apple wallet.. much better than the velocity app version...

Log on to the velocity website and on the left side menu items is a link for "Digital Membership Card", a sms is trgiggered with link to digital card...
Havent tried google pay one as yet though so take it with pinch of salt

Just noticed this now on my Velocity Account page and did a search to see if anyone had brought it up, I am quite pleased with this now it can sit along side my EK and SQ cards, now all I need is QF and EY

Edit: One thing I will fault is the giant card expiry and I'd prefer the points to be in the top right corner though its not a big deal. Main thing is shrink the name and title a little. Another annoyance with the expiry is why isn't the month all caps if name and all the subtitles are capitalised then why isn't the month it's bothering my OCD.

Edit 2: Attached the current designs for WP, SG and NR sadly no PS in the immediate family currently hopefully someone else can share. Funnily NR doesn't show a QR code also it would be nice for the status' to be shown in the same format this goes for the new physical membership cards also. From the looks of it NR seems to be slightly more pixelated, all these screenshot were taken from the same phone and edited in the same app.

I knew this was coming but I would have thought VA might have been more proactive in promoting the feature. Anyway it's well overdue and overcomes the issue of receiving a new card whilst traveling and having your status renewed or even upgraded.

After a number of failed attempts, I finally have my 'new' WP card on Android Pay. It is not as 'flashy' as the Apple version shown above.

I use Chrome as my default browser on my S8+ and I could not initially get the link to work correctly. I then tried using the standard Samsung Internet browser and the link then worked first time and the card was set up correctly in Android Pay.

So there may be an incompatibility with Chrome and those using Android may want to try another browser if they encounter any problems.

I note that the card expiry date is now prominent and has the extra month already included. This may make it a bit easier when you are waiting for your new card to arrive after your review period.

Safari on my iPhone had no issue the first card but downloading subsequent cards to the wallet app took a few tries with resending the link.

On another note I've found that the card doesn't show up when you quick launch to apple pay like the BPs and the EK, SQ, HHonour's cards do hopefully they will change this in a future updated because it is an easy thing to change.

Here's a PS version of the Apple wallet card. Funny enough there's no QR code for PS too.
Jet L the Velocity card showed up alright at my quick launch screen, could be a tiny bug you have there.

Entry to the lounge is the one place I can think of where the QR code could be required and therefore is on the WP and SG cards only...

WelI it's helpful to have the expiry date include the 1 month grace period! Might be helpful for partner airlines who are confuzzled by the physical cards

Reviving an old thread! Have been trying to add my card to Apple Wallet but the response I get is Safari and download this file. This is on iPhone. Has anyone had a similar response recently? I have tried several times.

Same issue here, also getting the same issue when adding a boarding pass to the wallet
