Hello,

Used the Velocity eStore last weekend (Saturday), for Bose QC15, points or purchase never showed on my eStore transactions page, even though delivery is expected today (free postage and free upgrade to DHL Express with ValueBasket).

I have sent in a missing eStore claim, so will wait and see how long it takes.

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the eStore and getting points? I have cookies enabled, gone through everything twice to check, but I use cookies for other sites, so I don't think the problem lies with my end.

Have done a few transactions.. The longest I have waited is 50 - 60 days for the points to actually be credited...The fastest has been about 30 days

Been happening for a very long time.

To be honest, I gave up on this way of earning a long time ago. For whatever reason, it never really worked for me. I get better value just using one of the various rebate sites.

I've had a high rate of success using estore, mainly ebay and menulog. Make sure you have third party cookies turned on.

Had no end of problems with the BP and eStore programs . Points aren't allocated from some retailers and the "help" line says it's my fault. Ebay never fails though. They also said I had 60 days to claim lost points, then it became 90 and now they say I can't claim at all.

As we have recently fallen back in love with Qantas I'm about to try their mall.

It seems to depend on the retailer - iTunes, eBay seem to go through quickly. ASOS I've generally had to retro claim. Some others like Apple Store, Dell will sit as "pending" for the full 60 days before being credited.

Yes it is possible it's the retailer. I spend 1000's with an appliance store and this year have got very few points accredited and it's always my fault......apparently. Funny how it's alw the same offenders.

Always had success with eBay and menu log so far. Other purchases have registered too. Better success than pricepal.

You need to make sure that you do not open another page after clicking on the link. So do your research and comparisons first THEN click on the link through e-store and complete purchase without opening any other pages or browsers.

Thanks. It always worked fine until about Feb this year when big appliances store started going weird. Even sent screen shots of history to prove my actions. I'm over Virgin's attitude when things go wrong and they just throw hands in the air and say 'not our problem'. Ebay is the only one that works seamlessly for me. Unfortunately the big appliances store is where I spend th big $$$$.

yes I've given up as well. One too many canned responses telling me that I didn't follow the correct link ... blah blah blah. (despite screenshots)

I read somewhere that there are now 5 million Velocity members in Australia. I guess 2 complaints won't bother them - however, now that we have 2 complainants in less a week, the multipliers are impressive; so if we can double that and grow exponentially until we are heard ??????........ :-)

Funny you say that. I've used estore a lot recently and when credited points it wasn't 2 points for $1 spent so I enquired about the lack of points. Their response today was I hadn't used the link hence why the points weren't credited and the merchant had no record of the transaction. Totally odd as I did have points, just a shortfall. I thought there's no point trying to explain with their 30 day response turnaround so I would just miss out of the point shortfall.

An impressive and user friendly system isn't it? What a great way to treat your "customers"!

Just advised that a retro claim with ASOS was rejected because I didn't click the right link. Funny, as I am 100% certain I accessed their site via the eStore. For 200-odd points you'd think they'd just OK it...

Yes I've had varying responses ranging from not following the correct links with cookies, to no points may be claimed after 90 days and the last one from (the I suspect ubiquitous) Ms Martinez said that there are NO retro claims.
