Velocity partnered with Energy Australia

I checked online and confirmed with a phone call...the Velocity offer in only on their Anytime Saver plan, not their Flexi Saver. The Flexi saver affords a bigger discount, (about $15 a month across 2 services for me) and a one off $50 credit on each service.

So, 20k velocity points? Or a saving of about $250 in the first year? As others have noted, I will sign up and take the points on the Anytime Saver, and then switch to the flexi saver once they land (or any other deal that might be flowing around).

im existing energy aus customer, trying to register for velocity points, but it mentioned im on bpay view, so cant register. But the bpayview is on a closed anz account which i dont have access anymore, called both energy and anz, both saying to contact the other party, anyone know how can i remove the bpay view from the energy account ??

I signed up for this a while ago but yet to receive a voucher. Anyone had similar experience?

Also is it 1 voucher per person or 1 voucher per plan?

Received my voucher about an hour after posting this. Hats off to anyone from Velocity who is proactively browsing the forum!

Pretty sure it's 1 voucher per person (I have both gas and electricity and only appear to have received $100).

Just received them this week a day or so after the first bill.

After your first gas bill or electricity bill or both? I applied at the end of April, but have only just received my last bill from my old supplier, so it will be another three months yet; hope they remember the promo!

Both, but both bills came in the same week. I had applied ages ago also, so I think this should not be a problem for you.

Received my points recently for both gas and electricity. Got a call from my previous supplier with a better offer so thanks Aussie Energy for the points and see you again next time you have a sign up bonus.

I was receiving 14% off gas and electricity with AGL for paying on time. The Energy Australia offer was 18% on electricity and 15% on gas. So better than what I was on plus the bonus of 20k Velocity Points. I understand the discount percentage is not as high was some going around but as a low energy user the difference was negligible. Ill pocket the points and ring them up after the first quarter and switch to a non Velocity plan with a higher discount.

You can get 30% discount if you ask nicely. And still get Velocity points of course. :D

those plans that offer 30% discount charges 30% more for the electricity rate. Its a bullshit discount. Just take up the plans that are cheaper and no discount. I have looked into a few of these huge discount electricy offers and they are all the same

Have zero idea what you are talking about.

I asked AGL nicely and they doubled the discount I was already getting, and sent me a $100 Virgin Gift card, as well as giving me miles on all $$s spent. No idea what you consider a deal, but that one keeps me VERY happy.

You know what 30% off, with the provider I prefer, suits me just FINE. o_O

Any idea on what Energy Australia's definition of a new customer is? Can't see anything in the terms and conditions. Received the points before changing to another provider in December 2017; do you think I have to wait out a full year to be considered a new customer?
