Not been happy with QFF for long time, never enough J seats to suit me unless I book 6 to 12 months out. Thinking of joining Velocity and get a Virgin CC.

I rack up about 150,000 points a year mostly via ANZ Amex spend at 1.5 points per $ (unlimited0 plus additional flying points on 2 interstate Y and one or two overseas j trips per year.

You might want to have a look at VS Flying Club as well as an alternative. I like their attractive car rental earn rates (1100 per rental) which tips the balance for me, however for CC spend it may be better to look elsewhere, it just depends on what you earn, how you earn it and how you want to spend it. I should get a free upper class trip every three months alone based on rentals, handy when you need a one way to Asia.
