Looking for Business reward seats mid July 24 from Europe to east coast Aus. Have been tracking release of Etihad seats but they seem to have stalled around June 20th. Anyone know what's happening?

I think so. It's the European summer -- peak season. And Australian school holidays. And the run-up to the Paris Olympics. I've been monitoring things too and reward seat availability to/from Europe next northern summer is somewhere between worse than ever, and non-existent. I'd start making alternative plans and, if rewards seats do pop up, see it as a bonus.

Aus - Eu premium awards will always be in high demand. The other thing to consider with velocity is that SQ/QR/EY all release inventory to their own members about a month before Velocity gets them so there is a good chance they will be gone in the Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep Europe peak before they even reach Velocity. In saying that we did manage to nab some SQ J awards from Munich to Aus in Jun 24.

I'm quite familiar with usual seat releases but premium EY seats are readily available until 20th June, then no EY flights have been added for about 3 weeks. Are they releasing them in batches?

No, it means they are not releasing seats for the peak summer period.

Or, they released them to their own frequent flyers who bought up all the GuestSeats for the peak summer period, leaving none available to release at a later date to VA. Note that Etihad Guest has bookings available through to 20/9 so there's quite a lag before VA's release.

That makes sense but still strange there's not even a single economy seat available after 20/6.

So, given the recent Amex and St. Dragon, SQ enhancement to 3:1, I have been looking at Velocity for J travel to/from Europe as it remains at 2:1

My first impression is that there isn't much available.
My second impression is that searching is an unholy pain the the äss! (Much worse, in fact than my colonoscopy at 08.30 this morning!!)
My question: Is there any better way to search for redemptions other than clicking each day and then each flight individually???

You could try seats.aero

Aye, but they only do 3 months free and I want to book 12 months out. Expert flyer might be better value??

Any tips on a city.
CDG and LHR not showing much...
Pay the money for seats aero. I did recently and was worth every cent, considering what you are paying in taxes anyway. I discovered end destinations I had not even considered that ended up working better. It's a fantastic product, I found it much better than expertflyer. Also if there are any changes to your booked flights you have a quick way to look at options.
