Velocity wants to know if you prefer bonus status credits or points

Plus I have no intention of maintaining status in the long term with the spend requirements.
Same here no intention of maintaining status long term, it's soft landings each year for me.
Status runs have come to an end with the Virgin status changes & devaluation, can only attain status better than the $12 per $ on DSC offers.
So think of all the status runs to whatever extent now will cease. That's a lot, a lot of revenue that will not flow.

As it stands the QF DSC offers will be even more of a hype of an activity period. In turn further revenue for the ruthless red roo.

I'm surprised, I flew VA a few times late last year and already a couple of flights this year but didn't receive the email in December nor any offers from my recent bookings and travel. Is there some sort of threshold or status needed to trigger these offers?

I got the DSC email after having one of my leaner years flying. Only thing that annoys me is the 1 week turn around to book. Guessing book by the 25th includes today to get in some last minute footy trips?

I got the DSC email as well and have been sitting on it, pondering. Final few hours to book, now - debating whether to bother with an attempt at requalifying Platinum before the new regime kicks in for bookings from 2 April.
