26 year old Ex QF767-338 has been wearing the WS badge flying over the pacific From YEG to OGG. Cracked windscreen.

Incident: Westjet B763 over Pacific on Apr 9th 2017, shattered windshield

The aircraft seating config now W24 Y238. (When at QF - J30 Y224)
WS have also added winglets.
The company has obviously managed to obtain ETOPS cert as well.

Further surfing reveals that WS maybe regretting its purchase of the old birds (4 x 767). An article from 2016 quotes the CEO saying:

“The 767 has been giving us lots of grief, we’ve had lots of mechanical problems,” Saretsky says in the video. “We’re finding that when things break, because some of the parts are so old, we don’t have them in store.”

VH-OGJ = C-FOGJ (26yrs)
VH-OGN = C-FOGN (23yrs)
VH-OGT = C-FOGT (26yrs)
VH-OGL = C-FWAD (26yrs)

The pre delivery maintenance - and the old give it the once over was done on the cheap by WS?

And last I heard, OGV, the newest and nicest of the lot, was still languishing in the desert.

Still shovel ready or maybe TOGA ready with a bit of a cleanup?

Wow was only 13 years old at final revenue service. Built 2000.

Why didn't WS take this one. It was retired before WS acquired the other 4
