Vinomofo Wine Deals

Do VM have a policy regards advertised RRP not matching winemaker's?
I've looked but cannot find any reference.

I really love the assertion that it's up to the user to ensure that the [often inaccurate] information meets their requirements. That's a totally brilliant disclaimer for a site that deliberately seeks to stop you finding out what the product is! Mind-bending stuff really... perhaps it's to be expected in this post-truth world

Well, actually they usually make it pretty easy to work out if you have access to the relevant information. Many take me less than 10 minutes, some a little or a lot more difficult, sometimes hindered by the amount of erroneous info in the listing.
On the other hand, if you have a broker they will usually tell you what it is, or at least a good extra clue.

It's interesting that they bother to have such stupid policies that will not stand up to Australian Consumer law when they also have a policy to refund if you don't like it.

It did take me a little longer than the herokuapp but pretty sure
Pinot Noir 2022 – Black Market Deal #43227
is
Children Of The Revolution Pinot Noir 2022
Which means it's a no for me.

The generous return policy of VM is probably the big consolation, return freight charges are prohibitively expensive especially from the far flung reaches of OZ...

Yesterday bought a Haselgrove 2019 GSM (https://www.vinomofo.com/wines/red-wine/gsm-2019-black-market-deal-39446-6ade7c14) not badly priced ($180/12), cheap and cheerful Dangerous Whites at $11.25.btl and McGuigans 2018 Shortlist Riesling at $13.50 ea.
Making use of 2 x $20 credits plus the $40 credit available yesterday.

I've done some searching- no luck...any thoughts on this 2020 Barossa Shiraz?
Thanks in advance

FWIW I had Hewitson The Mad Hatter shiraz yesterday that was purchased at VM and it was ok but a bit of Meh tbh.
Certainly didn't get me to scream for more. YMMV.

Anyone have an idea what wine this is?

ROSENTHAL RICHINGS RIESLING 2022

I know it's end of year but does anyone else get the sense that Vinomofo is not doing too well and that it's not what it used to be? There seems to be a lot of old stock that is not moving and the variety and quantity of wines is much slimmer than normal.
I know financially they aren't where they hoped they would be but it seems the mojo from the mof_ has been lost?

the mojo from the mof_ has been lost

Looks that way.. far too much reliance on hype after the river of old stock ran low…needing a marketing freshen up now
Other retailers are surviving and very sharp operators although I suspect many would kill for the 'fo customer base
Listing provides a short term river of liquidity but some time a profit must ensue or…...
