Vinomofo Wine Deals

I'd say so. But I wonder if it was actually made by Peter Douglas and the 96 points Sam Kim review is a bit of a red flag for me.
So I ended up opening one this past weekend with a friend and can say I was very happy with the wine. It started off very closed and muted with a good amount of acidity, and then really opened up in the glass over the night and showed surprisingly fruity berries to go along with that powerful acidity from earlier.

I like to try and find bargains at price points, I don't think this is a 150$ wine, but if someone told me it was worth 80 or 90, I'd say that's probably about right for the quality. I really do want to see how this one ages, we opened it up alongside a 32yr old leasingham which gave us some interesting perspective.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was keen to open a bottle to try it out, but thought it is a bit too young to try now. Your feedback provided me confidence!

Hi Legends,

Having trouble with these 2 Mclaren vale Grenache offerings.

and

RE FIRST OFFER: I tried to figure out all the female wine makers in Mcalren (of which there are a fair bit)..Bekkers, Olivers Taranga, Heirloom etc but nothing matched entirely. Also thought the hint about the retiring of the wine-maker might help but probably not publicaly known or published.

RE: SECOND OFFER: A white wine producer from Mclaren? A few came to mind but nothing that would indicate they are known for their whites.

Thanks in advance for any whoce cracked it or have an educated guess.

Penna Lane Blewitt Springs Side Track Grenache 2022
Thanks Sir Crumpet!

Did come across the Penna Lane in my web travels so great to get that locked in/seconded- but with the KIN Blewitt Springs Grenache 2022- I can't find any info on this wine anywhere?

Assuming it is made by Alkina? As far as I know they only use Barossa Fruit so is this only advertised internally to Alkina members? I also wasn't aware that Alkina had been sold through vinomofo before (fave producer icon indicates they've maybe sold them before doesn't it?). Any help or a link to this wine would be great :)

Any idea what wine this one is?

I've done some digging around the VM website, looks like the data is still there. This one is Rosenvale 'Roseback' Shiraz 2021

I looked at that one (6th generation vignerons=Rosenvale), was a good fit except for the Melbourne Wine Show award
