Vinomofo Wine Deals

Never warmed to Semillon? Man, you need to get out there! A 8-10 yo sem from a good winery is amazeballs.
I tried aged Semillon mostly in Hunter Valley and could not say that it was an earth shattering experience for me. I suppose it is just a matter of taste. Might give it another try

Have heard the 2017 vintage wasn't the best for MR but we'll see how it goes. I know a bunch of us were fans of the 2016.

Come around and I'll open a Sem with you!

Fair enough. Just gagging. Interestingly, the Langtons Vintage Chart gives Margaret River 2019 vintage a 10 and 2021 a 9. On a side note, i have my Blackbutt in the decanter as we speak, and the wife has the roast in the oven. It smells great and has a bit of sediment in the bottle. Happy days!
The Langtons vintage chart is... interesting.

There's a lot of hype about Hunter sem and it's not all great. But get the right one, and truly old so it has started to yellow, and imho it's very good. The only thing I'll touch from the Hunter. Best Sem I've had was, funnily enough, a Juniper Estate MR Sem a long time ago. Dry grown, inexpensive, a red drinker's white if there can be such a thing...

Mount Pleasant Elizabeth is the standard isn't it? In the same way Marsanne is for Tahbilk.

I must have missed this one & search not showing anything. Would you mind providing a link if still available. Cheers.
It was this one, but sold out
