Vinomofo Wine Deals

thanks jk - penegal and myself will be able to sleep soundly tonight now - not together - he snores - so how is the 2012 AP Reserve Shiraz? Is it worth $25?

What price was the Hanna?

I met Hannah (of the earlier year version)... I haven't tried any yet however.

And snores? haha... I'm not SQ421!!!

Although I may have to share an F cabin with him again soon...

Has anyone tried the Schild Estate Barossa Cabernet 2012? I've quaffed plenty of the shiraz and generally enjoy a Barossa cab.

If you have the "Hairy Arm" then this should complement your collection. :)
3 Gold medals and only for $8.25 can't be bad.

i see the glenlofty shiraz keeps popping up, but i think they would only have a couple of dozen cases each week to flog. keeps us all interested even though i have plenty of them.

if anyone likes a riesling, the w.a. is the sister of the wild fermented chardonnay that i bought 2 weeks ago.....and that chardy is stunning.....i just bought this riesling based on the gsm i bought there as well. cheers. it's a sunday, and the churchview is always good from the pulpit. oh what would st john make of it ?

Yes I saw it, hesitated for a minute then went to purchase and it had sold out. Have 2 cases left but it really is a good buy for that price, and will cellar well. Oh well.....
hey rocket, it will be back....but make sure you have that mobile smart phone ready at the back of the mass at 11.00.15 next week or the week after. its funny, the shiraz is sensational, the chardy from them is very very average. odd that.

I really don't understand why everyone is suddenly making such obscure references to what the actual wine is. My understanding is the forum admins have clearly stated that we can name the wines. VM have zero recourse. IMHO its just making this thread painful to read.

Oh phone at the ready. Which one is this stunning Chardy you are talking about?

If it's a Churchview Chardy then I'm guessing it's the Bartondale, not sure that it's been on VM though.

Could not agree more - could not have said it better myself

Agree. The whole point of this thread is to help each other out, not drive each other nuts.

While I actually agree with this I would note that the admins aren't the people who have purchased wine from VinoMofo (and would potentially have to comply with any T&C's because they were never a party). Hence they have no particular reason to stop any naming.

Personally I don't think the T&C's have a hope in hell of being enforced but those who actually purchased and are disclosing have more skin in the game and as such I wouldnt be relying on the defence that "the forum admins said it was OK".
