For sure. I'm also suffering a bit of Shiraz fatigue, but will crack open another AP just now to make sure I didn't perhaps overestimate it

Mine is the 2012, and while it obviously has some more growing up to do, which will see the beautiful fruits develop further, I love the way it attacks every time I put my beak into the glass.

Even the missus, who is very partial to Cabsav, loves it. Which is unfortunate, and yet another reason I should have grabbed another 6er.

It is in the running for London Wine Trophy. Can't be BAD.
I got the CabSav Reserve which got some other award as well.

GOLD, GOLD...London International Wine Challenge 2015
Results from the prestigious London International Wine Challenge 2015 were announced overnight.

We are thrilled to have received two GOLD medals for our 2012 Cabernet Merlot and 2012 Reserve Shiraz.
These wine will now be eligible for the trophy taste, with reults to be announced in May next year.

Agreed. I don't think any derision was involved here at all. I was just curious if we're talking about the same 2012 AP Reserve Shiraz, which I definitely enjoyed. In fact, if tgh was in Melb, I'd gladly have taken them off him

In your original post you seemingly complained that you didn't go much on the wine, I think we all know that it is subjective and a personal observation. I too tried the 2012 AP Reserve Shiraz and thought it was ok / nice wouldn't be buying any more though.

I bought the Chardy ($38 down to around $12) but haven't cracked one yet...probably should to see if it is a return wine. I too would like some feedback on them both.

I got a couple of emails saying shipment is delayed due to high demand.
