Anyone interested in splitting a case of the glenlofty?

Tim - sorry, but the raves about previous Glenlofty and debate about how many cases to buy has led me down the path of getting a full dozen. Don't split one - at under $10 'Nike' it and get a dozen - they won't last much longer!

Yeah... I ended up doing just that this morning!!! Yesterday I was busy inputing my purchases into Cellar Tracker from my driving trip through Great Western, Coonawarra, Mclaren Vale and the Barossa.... I drove for a reason!!!!

Absolutely loaded up including Basket Press Magnums!!! so my budget has been decimated!!!

On the flip side i just told me wife that the average per bottle was lower than expected ;-) thanks to the Glenlofty!

I did enjoy the 2012 Grey Label Cab Shiraz I tried recently but needs a few years.

Have a few bottle of the 2010 still in the cellar somewhere, nice drop indeed but been told the 2012 isn't quite the same caliber as the 2010 vintage. Anyone comment on this?

Good is good, but stunning is good to find.....they cant all be stunners, but they have to be good....

Even though you have no budget, may I remind you all that the Glenlofty is now marked as "Almost Gone!"?

We love the 2011 and I have more expectation in this 2012, so shared an order with my work mate! :D

Don't forget that although glen should, oops, will be good, the 11 was straight s.......the 12 here is v.s. more perfumed for sure, and not straight s.......neverthless, we all eagerly anticipate

Has anyone tried the glen lofty Shiraz/Viognier? Based on reviews I was looking forward to buying the straight Shiraz, but having not tried much of the blend I am not too sure what to expect and therefore whether or not to buy........

There are two things certain in life..one is taxes, and the second is that glenlofty reds will be great. Just finished a bot of 11 shiraz opened last night, unfinished because my drinking companion found it too heavy and as expected, it was beautiful..last night, I decided to open a recent vm deal, a tomich i777 pinot to mellow his palate and it was really impressive. However, on the subject of glenlofty, I found their 2011 or 2012~I cant remember as I only have had one of these chardonnays as another came in a six pack chardy deal- extremely mediocre. I would think that the straight 2012 shiraz would be coming up soon.......

The Glenlofty pointed equally with some very good company including the winner of it's class at Royal Melbourne Wine Show. 96 does seem even more inflated than a Halliday score, but of these the ones I found on Winefront scored very respectible 91s. Also based on the positive buzz on 2011 Shiraz which I missed out on. Have ordered a case and think it will serve well as a bargain quaffer.

This is me, at the price (and with the return policy) I don't think I can go wrong - I'm now starting to think I should have gone for 2.....

Looks like Wynns 2012 black cab sauv is re-stocked. Check the dan Murphy's thread for a Winemarket deal that knocks another $6 a bottle off a six bottle case - down to $18/btl delivered vs $24 with VM

!!!////??????xx_xx_…. just bought 6...

Was buying some more Tesselation , saw the Wynns and thought yeah .. why not….

Do they guarantee the lowest pricing ? aka price match for the same product...

It's just too easy to pull the vim trigger.. I/we? need a cooling off period...

otoh my prefect record for vim exclusive wine customer remains.. have bought nought but vim for 18 months or more...
