The Iconic Secret Deal 2012 Cab Shiraz (V&A Lane) that I ordered 2 weeks ago is finally on its way :)

Two weeks!? Wow I thought I was being impatient having to wait 1 week! What's happened to Nexday, they used to be so quick. I'm glad yours in on its way at least
Mine was finally delivered yesterday.

I am tempted to go for it also as have a good feeling about it, but I like to know what I am buying, am still trying to find it but no success yet

great detective work here...I was looking just for the sleuth work but came across something......what a name, and surely an oxymoron for its asking price. Still love it tho.

[h=2]KAESLER BOGAN SHIRAZ 2010[/h]Barossa Valley - S.A.
750mL

[h=6]Notes[/h]From dry grown and ancient 1899 vines, the Bogan Shiraz is a complex and powerful beast. Fantastic black fruit drive and power, whilst showing restraint and structure. Great acidity, flavours of mocha and supple, silky smooth tannins, with great focus and length. Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.

The Bogan's a great wine for the price (usually about $30 or so). They have pretty irreverent names for a few of their wines. Old cough is on the Langtons classification. WOMS (Weapon of Mass Seduction) is another high end one I've tasted before.

The bogan is a cracker big barossa Shiraz but kaesler also make the old cough! Even better name

Oh, I'm a long time lurker so thought it was time to start chiming in...

Ah, beefarmer, this reference to the Kaesler drop is apropos of what?

Glancing thru a few back-posts, I thought a reference made about a dog had something to do with this Magnum barossan red. Alas, as it turns out, I was mistaken as the wine that was referenced belonged to a white, probably a sparkling one at that. The red herring I swallowed nevertheless allowed me to don my cap and proceed to do a little Sherlock Holmes type investigation. Often, the BM deals are beyond my sleuth work bar the Big A-U coughcat, but this Bogan came up. It's got to be a label that makes you smile. So VMs, give us YOUR best wine brands....................
