Anyone know what this might be guys?

I'll guess Richard Hamilton Shiraz

" 92+ Points 2014 Richard Hamilton Shiraz

BestWinesUnder 20.com.au Kim Brebach

Usually sells for about $15 in the shops, as does the 2013 at Winedirect. That said, the 2014 is the best of this line I can remember. Plain-speaking, no great pretentions McLaren Vale Shiraz that grows on you fast. Generous dark fruit and a hint of chocolate, medium bodied but full of flavour, the polish is a surprise at this price and there’s none of the customary Macca hardness. It just got better and better over 5 days. 92+ points. "

I think most take any single review with a grain of salt. I've had 95+ JH wines that I thought were swill, but also sub-90 JH wines that I thought were phenomenal.
For a very quick moment there I actually thought you were a Nu Zeelanda and you were saying that 95 plus pointers were good or swell as well as sub 90's being extra swell.

89 from JH.

That's a 89 pointer. :D

Agreed, my general game plan with VM, has been to buy Salvation Cases which at $99-$150 are amazing value with some real gems, then pick my favourites when they come up in cases on the main site.

at under $15 a bottle its well worth tipping a few duds down the drain and open up another until you find something you love.

I've had three salvations over the last 12 months. Two were excellent, one was rubbish, I ended up with three of the same Pinot they were pushing last year that was swill.

I know it wasn't to everyones taste, but the thousand candles at a RRP of $100 was in both cases, so that alone represented good buying.

I'll continue to buy them, the good has far outweighed the bad.
