Thank you. Different "cellar until" date on myCellars but the winery itself matches VM. As an aside, I did not realise modestly priced rieslings could cellar for such a time, which piqued my interest.
I find that rieslings need to be drunk either quite young (1-2 years) or getting on a bit (>8 years). Just love an aged riesling or chardonnay. While I have had quite a few corked old rieslings the stelvin seal has fixed that. Had a 14 yo stelvin seal Domain Day riesling the other night. Not an oustanding wine, but a lovely golden colour and it held my attention long enough to have more than half a bottle. (I try to limit myself). Great bouquet and flavour for a wine a paid about $2-50 for probably about 8 years ago.
