Vinomofo Wine Deals

Was talking about the Probably Swings & Roundabouts Backyard Stories Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon at $150 per 6.
Yes, but you said " Another case of discount wine retailer selling for same price as winery? Better to buy direct and help the winery in the CV age. "
But VM is $150/6, winery is $390/6 and I couldn't find "same price as winery" anywhere.

I have a Transferwise debit card and they are offering this

Vinomofo: 30 AUD off orders above 250 AUD with VINO30. From now till 31-03-2021.

Good sleuthing Chonka:), I tried searching this thread with the BM number/link but didn't turn anything up, haven't had anything from Pepper Tree for yonks, happy to boom on advice from the punters if it merits it....

Hi team, Pinot #34630 from Martinborough, 2018, any guesses?

Quite enjoyed the 2015 bendigo hills pinot purchased the other week for $16/btl.

Thanks!

Palliser Estate
Pinot Noir 2018
Rating: 95
Sophisticated and engaging, the wine shows dark cherry, plum, thyme, spicy oak and subtle game characters on the nose. It’s wonderfully weighted and elegantly textured on the palate with fabulous fruit purity together with seductive savoury nuances, finishing long and magnificently complex. At its best: now to 2028. $46.00. www.palliser.co.nz. Nov 2019.

Have a 6 pack arriving tomorrow.

Any help with these two would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

From Winestate
Tasting: North Island - May/June 2020 (Winestate)
Region: Martinborough
Year: 2018
Price: $59.00
Review/Comments
This elegant, supple red is well worth cellaring. Deep ruby, it has good concentration of ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, with nutty and savoury notes adding complexity, and good tannin backbone. $59 (A, UK, US)
And
95/100
Bob Campbell MW

Elegant pinot noir with floral, plum, cherry, anise and spice flavours enhanced by an ethereal texture. A fragrant, feminine wine with impressive purity and a lingering finish 04 JUN 2019

NZD 59.33

Street price in Aus for past vintages is $40-$50 according to wine-searcher, VM the only listed source for 2018.

So where do they get the $60 RRP from?

VM pricing has been a bit all over the shop for recent deals - feel like they're really seeking out the absolute highest price to make the discount look as steep as possible.

I usually just try and narrow down by the Huon Hooke / Bob Campbell / TWF scores and rough pricing.

Pack arrived yesterday, can confirm its Palliser Estate PN 2018.

Um, that has been their approach since Day 1...
