Vinomofo Wine Deals

Tatiarra - my favourite Shiraz. Does it ever appear on Vinomofo?
I believe the last vintage of Tatiarra Cambrian Shiraz was 2015. When I realised that it was no longer being produced I have contacted the winemaker and they released the last stocks of 2013-2015 over at Nicks that appear to have sold out now.

It appears that Mitchelton purchased and in 2016 it was released under a different label at 2x the original Tatiarra price.

I think that the Mitchelton wines were sold at some point over at Vinomofo but not the original Tatiarra.

I would suggest to keep your eyes on the Nicks site and grab some Tatiarra if it ever gets offered again.

Thank you Olympicwiz. Mine were also Nicks purchases - I wasn't aware that they were no longer produced. That's a great shame.

I have hit Tommy hanks up for the Heathcote shiraz prearrival. The previous vintage has 4.0 on vivino which is sppppppecial. T.hanks Bwuce McAvaney. The cool climate shiraz is a thing to behold. I Can't wait for Bwuce to drop a few Tokyo trinkets. Happy drinking in NSW and VIC.Not much else to do.

Maybe not quite the place but I have just opened a balgownie bendogo 2017 cab from the fo cab 6 pack and its good. So I think that's four out of four. I remember a wine bloke a decade ago or more saying you have to give these Victorian wines time to open up so I have put it on hold and pulled out one from the FO's past a 2012 Amelia Park Shiraz. I didn't want to give it its actual Reserve Shiraz title as that would make everyone think its better than the normal.
Amelia punches folks over the Bal. That's enough. Time for dinner. Early days in the Vic Cab v WA Shiraz battle on a Saturday night, festival for all. Where is Gus Mercurio?

how did you get vinomofo to pick it up?
I initiated the return via the eBay portal - it generated the return prepaid label and I have taken it to the post office.

I deemed the wine to be substandard. Not sure if it was a change of mind reason - maybe I would have been liable to pay for the return myself.

Thanks... I had to pay for my return which is why I was asking.

I'm also having to pay for my return and I'm an eBay plus member. I did click the 'didn't like it' reason for return.
Ok, I also found it a hard way when I was told to pay for the return. It is a subtle trick that eBay uses to help the sellers regarding the returns.

When you start a return process, this is what comes up.

If you click "changed my mind" or "just didn't like it", the cost of the return is on you. I did that since I could not see a "faulty" option and was given the instructions to return the item by purchasing the postage myself that seemed unfair to me.

I quizzed the eBay support and was told that in order to get a seller to pay for the return of the faulty item, I need to expand by clicking "show more"

When you click show more you are presented with more reasons as to why you are returning this.

Now with wine, my suggestion is to click "Doesn't match description" (ie you think it is medium bodied vs the description of full bodied etc)

Then you will get a prepaid return label.

That said if you are eBay Plus member and returning within 30 days - the return should be free as VM is an eBay Plus seller.

I would suggest to get on eBay support and demand a prepaid label.

I am a ebay plus member but not all vinomofo wines seem to be "ebay plus".
