It was mentioned in the Off Topic thread earlier - unfortunately the plane does not come with engines :shock:
 
Don't forget to buy it through the Velocity estore, you get 2 points per dollar spent that way.
 
i think there'd be a market for turning it into a hotel of sorts.

the hump could be a great penthouse, with various size rooms on the main floor.

I'd certainly go out of my way to sleep in the 747 hotel

I stayed in the Jumbo Hostel in Stockholm a few years ago. It's a 747-200 converted into a hotel just outside of Arlanda Airport. I really enjoyed staying there. The nose is a restaurant and the upper deck is a conference room. The most expensive room is the coughpit suite. :)

I'd love to see the concept expanded to other parts of the world!
