29th Feb last was a 24h sale - MEL-PER $149 ... we will see how this conpares ...

That last 24 hour sale was solid. Booked a few future flights.

If this is just as good, I might stock up again.

If you can get yourself organised quick enough, it's almost like the good ol' days of capacity warfare!

Is/was the sale any good?
It wasn't the spectacular event I was expecting (IE SYD - PER/MEL for $129 mark, as was HH at the start of the year). It was similar to a normal Happy Hour minus $10 - $20 in my opinion.
Thought it featured a lot of destinations, though I thought the travel dates were more limited than I was expecting.
Naturally, if you were thinking of booking something, you may have been happy if the sale was applicable.

Don't expect a great Happy Hour tomorrow.

Not really impressed at all. Happy Hours can sometimes be better for international, and the domestic routes were just slightly cheaper that the lowest sale fares. Nothing like the 24h sale a couple of weeks back.

I did buy a couple of BNE-SYD flights for $75 which is slightly better than current happy hours, although last 24 hour sale they were $69.

Almost similar to the previous 24 hour sale VA had weeks ago. And with same travel period too.
