New commercial is up, and website is updated with the new logo.
Silly IMO.New commercial is up, and website is updated with the new logo.
Silly IMO.
Holding a trolley while getting a massage.
Old chook sitting comfortably holding a petrol Bowser.
Just silly.
I took a slightly different take. To me it looked like earning points got you into a special ‘members club’ where once in you are in the high life (getting massages, people to look after your needs… this finer things in life)I find it odd that "Virgin Australia", or even flying, isn't mentioned once.
Is it being re-launched as a ground program? Use your points from shopping and fuel for hotel stays?
Somebody's been on the mushrooms again....no idea how they come up with this stuffNew commercial is up, and website is updated with the new logo.

They are a separate company to Virgin are they not? Fully owned but seperate.I find it odd that "Virgin Australia", or even flying, isn't mentioned once.

Yes. IIRC the then ownership of consortium of Singapore Airlines, Etihad, HNA et al borrowed against Velocity, which didn't please the current owners Bain at the time. They are a separate company to Virgin are they not? Fully owned but seperate.
I remember during the bankruptcy they said Velcoity never went into administration, and they were pursuing Virgin for xx_ dollars and a creditor.

The Velocity means fast slogan still isn’t the right one IMHO.
"It depends, we'll see"Qatar is the one generally out buying everyone else.

The world’s best airline, according to Skytrax’s annual awards, says the most luxurious seats do not justify the returns as it eyes expansion in Australia.www.afr.com
I think the evolution of the old business class to current business class flat beds was much quicker than P-E becoming ‘the new business’? PE cabins haven’t evolved at all since their inception… same 38 inch pitch, same width. Business class on the other hand was pretty quick to go from 38 inch pitch to 50 inches, then to angled flat, now full flats.Well really Business evolved into First and Premium Economy is the new Business. With fares to match (remember when Y+ was Y+ and not PE? - and the fares were just a bit more?)
So we're back where we started, just with much larger "First" cabins. Well played, airlines, well played.
Perhaps it should just be Business - Economy - Steerage classes.I think the evolution of the old business class to current business class flat beds was much quicker than P-E becoming ‘the new business’? Airlines have realised their PE cabins make more money per space than lie flats.
I think it is time for a rebranding though… premium economy still sounds… ‘economy’. Let’s call it something like ‘leisure business’.
So the old lady on the inflatable in the pool would have a slow velocity. But the waiter would have a higher velocity because of his pooled status points and credit card churning?
No I didn’t say PE evolved (well, except for the prices)I think the evolution of the old business class to current business class flat beds was much quicker than P-E becoming ‘the new business’? velocity equals mass times accelerationI thought Velocity meant speed?
They should have gone with that then, velocity equals mass times acceleration
Fast track to status with family pooling?
