Click here for a list of current Virgin Australia discount codes:

A while back VA had a discount code that could be used for (almost) any domestic booking.

Are there any discount codes that work at the moment?

Thanks!

I can't seem to get any of the current promo codes to work for domestic flights around new years. Most annoying having to full whack.

Same here when I was checking for friends, except for the business class discount code...
According to the Entertainment Book, BKT26 is not valid during "Blackout periods 21-29 Dec 2019 & 9-13 April 2020". I suspect all codes are invalid at those times too.

I am trying to check for prices MEL-SYD for two weeks from now and none of the codes seem to be working.

I am inclined to check reward tickets but if I could get cheap Elevate/Freedom fare , will rather add some SCs to my kitty.

I haven't had any luck with any of the promo codes listed on the website for Freedom fares PER-HBA (via MEL or SYD) for March next year. Was hoping to use my platinum upgrades on the A330 for the first leg (hence the freedom fare requirement).

I tend to look at Freedom fares as well for the higher SC earn and/or for a points upgrade to J, but I don't think I've ever found a promo code that actually worked on Freedom fares.

None of the 4 codes above that supposedly work for Biz fares to NZ on Virgin metal for Feb .. any one know one that works?

Might do a Double SC run. :D

Clearly the 20 day is met, and Feb is not on blackout list.

Best I can see for SYD-CHC (via OOL or BNE or MEL each way) is about $A900 return.

That is the standard Biz fare on Virgin website actually

Am surprised it gets to 720SC ?

In Business saver
HBA-MEL = 50SC’s
MEL-BNE = 60SC’s
BNE-DUD = 80SC’s
Total of 190SC’s each way so a return under DSC would get 760SC’s.
Very good run if you have the time

ooh. I've never had status but thinking would be worthwhile having virgin status. (priority bad drop would be my #1). I already get lounge access with the amex charge card
am flying a little more domestically though not enough to quality for even silver.

I live in Sydney
I would like to book a work trip to HBA, 20th Feb.
can also do MEL on the way there or on the return for some more meetings.
could the brains trust recommend something please?

currently sitting on ~190SC though not sure how many will expire by the time Feb rolls around.
will also book my free flight (fare class T) with the anz adventures cards this week to get me some more DSC

Looked good util I looked at SYD-HBA-SYD -- running $200 each way in March/April to connect with these!

Only ELEVATE bucket showing and there are sales all year at around $100, but no double SC on those sadly.

Still do not get it why NONE of the 4 current codes work for BIZ class HBA-DUD-HBA early 2020?

Anyone know anything that does work for March/April?
