discount codes and DSC makes its more fun to buy flights on VA, I have booked flights on VA to go the AFL grand final, but can Brisbane actually make it.
Virgin think there is a chance as they have added a few Saturday evening late flights which I snagged an award, although I did buy a business fare with DSC to get there. I could cancel for a refund or save it for a future flight hoping the DSC sticks.

I used code ZXW75 and the one of the flights went up by around $10, not sure about the other flight. I then looked at the flight without the discount code and it went back to the original price. I didn't bother using the code

It removes the possibility of booking Economy Lite, so you can only book Choice and upwards, but those are generally discounted.

ZXW75 has worked a treat for me this weekend.

I've seen about 8.5% off J fares around the golden triangle in August and September. VA discounted prices in J came down towards those available on Amex with the Platinum Card Member Benefit applied.

Throw the DSC into the mix and I may just catapult to WP in VA for the first time ever. This time last year, I was a nobody Red with VA and had little interest in them. Look what QF's poor customer service has done to me!

The Matilda code worked well gave me $40.oo off my Choice flight Townsville to Melbourne ( which was still expensive the week I need to fly)
