Re: New J Class product

Cruiser you're in a bit of a black mood today. Remember its raining out west and all's well.

Be interested in the new J seat as it will be good for my trip to LA in May.

Re: New J Class product

While I have absolutely no idea and no connections (merely some idle speculation) - given SQ's financial investment in VA, would it not make sense for SQ to integrate any VA flights to SIN in to their own schedule? I certainly can't see SQ handing anything to VA out of SYD or MEL, but perhaps out of BNE?

Re: New J Class product

Certainly not in a black mood - am as happy as Larry - truth be known I have had a drink or 3 but I always find that allows me to see the bigger things in life in a much clearer state.

But the challenge is still there - I would still like to see a plausible reason for this decision.

New J Class product

They're clearly there to join Star Alliance.

Kidding ;)

They are there in sin to launch a new SIN flight hence why they are launching the new seats in Singapore.

It's because he's favourite gal at SQ has resigned.. he needs to find a new lady! ;)

Re: New J Class product

Media release out on the virgin site - new J ....1-2-1 .....no new port ......

Re: New J Class product

... and yet no mention of any new Int. routes :?

What impresses me is that it'll all be finished by July - Let's see if they stick to the timeline. :)

Well they gave themselves 4-5 months to refit 6 planes. Highly doable.

Also waiting to see if they will announce a new international route. Would have thought that SIN was the logical choice with the announcement taking place there.

Also the PE seat on the 77W is getting an upgrade and E+ seating is being added as well.

It also mentions a new Premium Economy and an Economy Plus product - that should make a few people quite happy!

Re: New J Class product

So much for the speculation of it debuting in XFJ.

Any idea on seat map for the new layout on the 332?

Nope, but the article does say they will be reducing the number of seats from 24 to 20

This should please a lot of people, especially those that have to travel economy in some circumstances!

I also noted they are keeping the bar and upgrading it which is good news!

The slight disappointing news is that the 777's are not being done until Nov next year, I would have though they would have been done before the A330's.
