Virgin Australia's 'Fokker 100'

It's been operating the DJ flights for the last few days. They've been operating it with a Virgin callsign too, unlike the QF flights that still went by "Unity". Given the very... white look, I'd say it's a candidate for some temporary tail and body stickers.

I have to say I think it is a stupid move by DJ, operating a 24 year old aircraft on any route is never a good idea, maybe they need to look at why their ROK loads were good???????

I'm not too happy either as I far prefer the E190 :( Now also no PE/J class BNE-NTL. Guess it may have been futile as no competition. Hopefully they will keep the E190's ( and the odd 737-800) on NTL-MEL

Or maybe the loads into ROK were the good news story and hidden in the details was the news that DJ are using older contracted jets on the route. It is no secret that the Alliance deal with the F100's is only to cover the E190's while they are refitted and have some maintenance performed on them over the next 12 months...

I was hinting at the ROK loads being good because the alternative was a QF F100 ;). F100s were all over FNq this morning, with visits to MKY/ROK/PSP by them on behalf of QF and DJ - yuck !
