Virgin Australia's Manila call centre closed [expect longer delays]

From 9 April, flight changes and credit requests will only be available prior to your flights scheduled departure date. To avoid disappointment, please change your flight date or request a travel credit as early as possible.
 
I haven't looked up media but was told that the Metro Manila 'lockdown' has been or is to be extended for another couple of weeks. This may mean call centre staff continuing to work from their homes. Not ideal.
 
I rang call centre this morning and afternoon and on both occasions got a message that due to unexpected difficulties call centre is closed and then disconnected.

Given that staff are returning to offices in Metro Manila, could it be that they're transferring operations from staff being at home with laptops back to the office setting? Or that VA's administrators have not paid a bill due?

I called just before and waited 40 minutes on hold.
Lucky! I just spent 1 hr 20 mins on hold, got through, then was put on hold while my details were confirmed and got disconnected 😢 I'm trying again because now the whole experience has become hilarious
