Hi All,

I have just booked to go to CNS sometime in the future with DJ, but I didn't realise that the flights (HBA-BNE-CNS) were both on a E190.

Anyone out there got any idea what kind of entertainment systems these bad boys have fitted? I know there is no live2air, but is there an audio system or something?

IFE consists of a good book, an ipod or iphone. Or if you are really lucky one of those new iPad's I guess...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Cheers,

Boof

Even without the entertainment system though the E190s are very nice fly. I'd definitely choose them over the 737s any day.

What makes them so good?
I really want to fly on one. I ws hoping on my MEL-HBA-MEL flights last week would be on one.
I really want to smoke the red cigar!

No E-Jets on any HBA-MEL route

But they operate on HBA-BNE, HBA-CBR and HBA-SYD and vice versa

i dont ever plan to fly with DJ again (except when it's booked for me ), but the E190's are beautiful to fly in. Nice, wide seats and a bit more legroom too. Overall a great aircraft to fly.

PER-ADL is a nice, pleasant, short flight with the E190

What makes them so nice is no middle seat. Everyone gets a window or aisle. The aisle is wider, more legroom and seats are more comfortable. Bring a laptop if you want some entertainment. If you're lucky you might have both seats to yourself and can spread out. I'll take more room over an IFE anyday.

It's the space, there's lots of it, especially for domestic economy. Plus the overhead lockers are quite generous in size too for the number of passengers. Far, far superior to the QantasLink Dash-8s that are often the competitors on the routes DJ use the E-190 for.
