Virgin Business Flyer - Discounts on partners

Got an email yesterday form Virgin business flyer about booking with partners, Qatar and United. Also earning Business Rewards points on QR, SQ and United. Looks like the flight needs a VA flight number.

1. Tier 1: 1 Point per AUD $1 spent
2. Tier 2: 1.5 Points per AUD $1 spent

As per other post. Booked a QR economy flight via business rewards yesterday. Simple return to Europe. Both "choice" fares - Q and V fare classes. discount was about 1.5% to 2% depending on outbound or return. Dummy booking on the QR website, and quoted undiscounted fare matched.

I also did a dummy booking for business and it was about 4.5% discount.
