Everytime I call the Virgin call centre, I am asked to enter my velocity number and then go on hold.

An automated message then states "we are experiencing technical difficulties".....press 1 if you are a red member, 2 if you are silver, 3 if you are gold and 4 if you are platinum.

This has been going on for over 6 months?

Anybody else finding this annoying and any idea when VA will fix this?

VA is a great airline to fly with, great staff and great service. Their websites and call centres cause me the most angst and I would think these would be some of the less challenging issues that management have to deal with when running an airline.

When their telephone system IS working, it chucks a spaz attack and says my Velocity number is in-valid...lol

I've noticed this a handful of times over the last year or so, but most of the time (for me) it works alright.

Never had that message however entering my number always seems pointless as the rep always asks for it again
