Virgin delays return to international flights, culls most NZ destinations

VA has delayed its ZQN relaunch until at least 31 October 2021.

At this rate I don't think we'll see a single VA aircraft flying to NZ anytime this year.

I think QF are still operating some SYD-AKL-SYD flights mainly for the SYD-AKL returning travellers. In addition to that NZ will likely see QF A330's and QF Freight 767's almost daily running the usual SYD-AKL-CHC-SYD freight run.
