On initial climb out at around 7000ft, theres a double ding of the seatbelt sign, signaling that FA's can get up and start prepping service.

My question is, can electronics be used after this point, or do Virgin only allow tablets / laptops to be turned on after the 10,000ASL clearance & seatbelt sign extinguish?

Only after the seat belt sign has gone off I believe.

I think officially that’d be a no, not until they say you can.

What you actually do though, is up to you ;)

I regularly use electronic devices in full view of the FAs after the 'double ding' without any problems. However, I never use the tray table (and nor would I recline, if I was a reclining type of person) until the seatbelt sign is off permanently.
