Stretching the realms of realism!

Although.............didn't Air New Zealand tell them to make more money! Maybe this is their "come in spinner" upgrade fare.

Exit row SYD-BNE… reckon it's worth it?

This was last week, so I suspect it's tied up in whatever changes are related to the new seat selection page.

At Least they haven't installed in-seat credit cards readers like NZ, well yet! NZ's A320,763,772(refit),77W and 789 all have built in credit card readers which are used. Maybe coming to an VA flight soon?

Yes they sure did!

Just got a market research survey that was testing giving away coveted row 3 737 domestic Y seats to people who paid - not VA SG/WP anymore....!

Given that's a fairly major domestic benefit to fly VA, I think they'd be pushing the loyalty rubber band a bit hard. They've so far removed the flexi meal and replaced it with a flexi titbit. I actually bought a wine and the cheese and crackers last night, to supplement the piddly miniature scotch finger biccies and salsa dip (what lunatic thought salsa dip goes with scotch finger crumbs...although the scotch fingers did make a reasonable implement to spread a smear of salsa over a cracker before topping with a slice of cheese ). They've boosted fares. They've introduced demonic ATRs. They've stopped ATA. They've cut routes. They've failed to implement their advertised benefits (in particular the spirits in the lounge which was advertised in their promo clips). They've cut frequency. They've lost the gloss. They've lost the pleasantry (mostly). They've lost the "can do" attitude and replaced it with NO. So why not? May as well totally piss off your frequent customers. Actually, the only thing that VA has going for them for the last few years is Alan Joyce!
