VA look to have pulled all web pages relating to their fare promise

I (unsuccessfully) attempted to claim it a few weeks ago and thought I would have another crack but looks like they’ve joined QF and decided in this day and age they don’t need to incentivise people to book direct.

As mentioned a few times Amex Travel always tends to have Freedom fares cheaper then Virgin Direct. Though I forgot about the (once was) Fare Promise

How does booking through a 3rd party interact with the free change policy VA has atm?

If it's like the car hire price promise, it was canned on June 4.

How does booking through a 3rd party interact with the free change policy VA has atm?

A 3rd party may have their own set of charges. There was a coment in an AMEX thread that they follow the same rules are Virgin, likely as they are partners.
However, with the likes of many travel agents they may impose their own fees and charges.
