Currently only Brisbane lounge is open but planning to open several more.
I have silver status which means I have two lounge access vouchers. Unfortunately these expire in March but I may never get to use them as currently only Gold, Platinum, Lifetime, etc have access to the Brisbane lounge. I was hoping to use them in Sydney, in January. Anyone think previous access requirements may become available with reopening of the lounges in other cities?
Expectations of Virgin are probably will possibly bring disappointment to some. I may go more with Qantas if Virgin no longer offers the same benefits as prior to the new owners taking over and of course, Covid19.

Perhaps post on a Virgin Australia thread, rather than opening a new Open Discussion thread. For example, this link, or something else specific to VA:

Go into your VFF account and see when they have extended the pass to.
Mine was to expire in around Dec or so last year, I think in my VFF account, their validity got extended to Mar this year, then Covid came along, think they were extended to Dec 2021 now, **could be mistaken**, but didn't take a deep look at it.
At this point, I am also VFF PS.
Haven't checked my VFF account of late, but have a look at yours though.
See what your pass validity is on that.

Thanks for your response AustraliaPoochie. I have had mine extended until March 31. My hope is that access, in the Sydney lounge will become available to those with Silver status as it is currently only accessible to Gold and above. Little point in having two lounge passes until March 31 if you can't use them.
