Hoki fish and chips this afternoon in the BNE lounge.

Fish was very good but the chips could of been hotter (they need a heated station to display them in). The fish was served to you by a lounge staff member...20180318_164843-1612x1209.jpg

Free Magnum knock off ice creams as well (available in PER on Friday also).

There really needs needs to be a sign up warning "Very spicy" when they have chicken burritos with tortillas.

I don't eat Mexican and thought I'd try some and no sooner had the food touched my lips and I had to spit it out.

if it happened that quick, you should've waited for it to cool down

Well I'd have gladly eaten it, but I'm glad you got what I meant!

More spicy food please VA.

It's hard to please everyone :)
I got what you meant. Spicy is ok. Warning that it's spicy would not be that difficult.

To the contrary, one should assume that any food with a Mexican type name (e.g. Burrito) will be spicy hot.

Personally I wold have expressed disappointment of it had not been so.

Please just warn people. I don't care if the food isn't something I'll enjoy (like fish), but I DO care if the food is going to give me gastrointestinal distress during a flight. Spicy food (even excess pepper) will do that to me.

If that's the case if you see Burrito, Taco, Enchilada, etc. then steer clear.

Burritos and tacos without extra sauces were fine in Mexico?
I thought we were talking a kind of spicy that makes the average joe go “woah”. In a mass catering scenario, it makes sense to have the hot on the side or labelled as to strength.

If VA would introduce hot food into the PER lounge for the afternoon bank of flights over East I would be a very happy camper...
